Artwork Requirements

For Single-sided High Build Spot UV Business Cards, a 2-page PDF is required. Page 1 is the CMYK artwork and page 2 is the High Build spot UV artwork.

High Build Spot UV Varnish application has registration tolerances of approximately plus or minus 0.5 mm. Therefore it is not recommended that small text (10pt minimum) or thin lines (1pt minimum) are Varnished as perfect register cannot be guaranteed.

Please Note

For Double-sided High Build Spot UV Business Cards, with High Build spot UV to one side, please submit a 4-page PDF:

1. The front of the artwork
2. The back of the artwork
3. The High Build spot varnish artwork (the High Build spot UV layer is applied on top of the artwork on page 1)
4. Page 4 is blank.

The High Build spot UV artwork should contain solid black shapes in the exact position where the raised varnish is required.
